Stanberry once had a Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha Railway (Omaha Road) secondary line and a Soo Line mainline. Today, the former Omaha Road is owned by the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad, while the former Soo Line is owned by Canadian National Railway.
