Watseka once had two railroads, including a Toledo, Peoria & Western Railway (TP&W) mainline and a Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad (C&EI) mainline. Today, the TP&W continues to operate, while the CE&I is owned by Union Pacific Railroad and CSX.
