Trego once had a Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha Railway (Omaha Road) mainline and an Omaha Road secondary line. Today, the secondary line is owned by Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad, while the mainline is part of the Wild Rivers Trail.
