Enterprise once had three railroads, including a Union Pacific Railroad mainline, an Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway secondary line and a Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad branch line. Today, Union Pacific continues to operate, while the ATSF is now operated by BNSF Railway. The Rock Island is now part of the Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad.
