East Moline once had a Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad (Milwaukee Road) mainline and a Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad (Rock Island) mainline. Today, the Milwaukee Road is owned by BNSF Railway, while the former Rock Island is owned by Iowa Interstate Railroad.
