Dundas once had three railroads, including a joint mainline of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway (Milwaukee Road) and the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad; a Chicago Great Western Railway branch line, and a Minneapolis, Northfield & Southern Railway line that was never completed. Today, the Milwaukee Road/Rock Island is operated by Union Pacific Railroad, while the CGW is abandoned.
