Located on the west side of Minneapolis, this standard concrete slab bridge crosses Dean Parkway near the intersection of Lake Street. Built in 1912 as the Milwaukee Road elevated their tracks through the area, the bridge features four concrete slab spans, set onto concrete substructures. The bridge feature decorative features and railings, typical for early concrete grade separations. The piers of the bridge are a typical design seen on this style of grade separation. This type of bridge was exceedingly common for grade separations, due to the ease of construction. A number of repairs have been made to the concrete since the initial construction, including a major rehabilitation in 2011-2012 which restored the bridge. Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with minor deterioration such as map cracking noted in a 2022 Streetview. The bridge currently serves the Midtown Greenway, a popular bike trail. The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
