Located in St. Louis Park, this small steel stringer and concrete slab bridge carries the BNSF Wayzata Subdivision over Virginia Avenue. Built in 1924, the bridge featues a pair of 6-ply steel stringers, approached by concrete slab spans and set onto concrete substructures. The bridge follows a design commonly seen along the Great Northern, as it was quick to construct, economical and durable. The concrete slab approaches were often precast off site and quickly installed. Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair to good condition, with no major deterioration noted. The author has rated the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
