Menomonie once had 3 railroads. The Chicago & North Western mainline, a C&NW branch to downtown Menomonie, and a Milwakee Road branch. The MILW is now a trail, and the C&NW branch is abandoned. The C&NW main is a Union Pacific Mainline.
