Elgin, Illinois

Elgin is one of the a major cities on the west edge of Chicagoland. It sits along the Fox River, and had three railroads.
The Chicago & North Western line is now Union Pacific, the Milwaukee Road mainline is now Canadian Pacific and the Chicago, Aurora & Elgin is now a trail.
In addition, a Chicago & North Western line heading north has been abandoned.
